    Hey guys i was just wandering who people thought the best player is in the modern game for me its got to be cristiano ronaldo

    I agree with you, in my opinion Christiano Ronaldo is unmatched by any other player in terms of skill in the modern era of soccer. Now, if we are talking about all-time, that's another story, although he would still be up there somewhere.

    You guys must be Manchester United fans. I think Christiano Ronaldo is doing very well right now but that is for now. Of all time there are many other players better than him.

    Ronaldinho is for sure going to be remembered as one of the greatest footballer ever. But he is not as good as he used to be now.

    Its interesting that no one mentioned Kevin Rooney here. I think we should throw him into the mix as he is a force on offense that always has to be accounted for when hes on the field.

    Cristiano Ronaldo is surely the best player in the world currently. If you look at his form, he has been consistent throughout the season and has single handedly demolished opponents. Great free kicks, assists, number of goals, awards he has everything going for him this season.

    It's more than obvious that Cristiano Ronaldo is the number one player at Manchester United. He makes and breaks everything for "the Red devils" but you have to admit that all those numbers( goals assists) couldn't have been achieved without United's wonderfull team. Although the portueguess is an amazing player I still think Ronaldinho is the most impressive footballer to play the game after Zidane's glory days have passed.Ronaldo has the strength , the speed and the talent but none of these can be compared to the brazilian's grace and love for the game.

    There's no doubt that all of the players mentioned are great in their own respect, but to be one of the greatest of all time, a player must have added something more to the game itself. It is not simply a matter of goals and saves.

    Zidane's superb soccer skills are also one the best in the world though it is another matter he has retired. does anyone of you agree that he is one of the greatest players of all time?

    I like Ronaldo very much then any other soccer player. He play very well and I am biggest fan of him and I too like his hair style.

    Pele is the best, no 1 will ever catch up 2 his skills he did not take drugs like Diego Maradona and has much more skills then Ronaldinho

    He started playing at age 17 and scored 8 goals in the world cup
    The best ever, The eternal king of soccer.

    Maradona was amazing for Argentina. The guy was unstoppable in his prime and if it wasnt for his drug problems would have been an even greater player. Why do great athlets turn to life desoying drug use:(.

    I agree that Cristiano Ronaldo is probably the best player in the world at the moment, the fact he scored 40 goals in the most competitive league and competitions in the world in just one season speaks for itself.

    he play soccer with beauty, i really love to watch him
    just take look at his style when playing the ball, the way he move in the field, his passess, his goals
